These are the answers from children in PYP for "International Women's Day" theme assembly. For the definition of women, children seem to have their own answers in hearts. 今年的国际三八妇女节，PYP学生处组织大家纪念历史上的伟大女性，学习她们为建立更美好的世界所作出的贡献。会场上，我们一同了解了南丁格尔的生平，她是护理事业的创始人，现代护理教育的奠基人，她散发出的独立、勇敢、坚强等特质，也是孩子们给出的关于现代女性身份的关键词。 The PYP Student Office organized everyone to commemorate great women in history and learn from their contributions to build a better world. At the assembly, we learned about Nightingale’s life story. She is the founder of the nursing career and the founder of modern nursing education. Her independence, bravery, and toughness inspire the children. 活动当天，学校还给孩子们布置了一项小任务，那就是寻找身边激励自己成长的女性，并为他们画一幅肖像画，并用简短的文字记录她们独特的品质。结合2021年国际三八妇女节的庆祝主题“选择挑战”，学校同样鼓励孩子们勇敢尝试一项新鲜事物。相信这样富有意义的德育任务，充分培养了学生富有国际情怀的价值观。同样祝愿丽人们节日快乐，世界因你们而美丽，如春风明媚，似阳光灿烂。 We assigned a small task to the children, finding women around them who inspire their growth, draw a portrait for them, and record their unique qualities in short text. We also encourages children to try a new thing bravely . We believe that such a meaningful moral education task has fully cultivated the values of international mindedness.
